In a recent acution at Wessex Auction Rooms, the 17th Century Galleon model raised a wonderful total of £380 for the work we do.
Our grateful thanks go to Mr Max Beare who kindly donated the galleon following its restrocation by himself and his late brother-in-law Len Furguson.
The auctioneer’s estimate was betwee £50-80, so everyone is thrilled with the amount it finally went for.
The sale was promoted in a Gazette & Herald article earlier this month – click here to read it in full and see more images of the Galleon.
