Between 8am and 9.30am on Sunday 17th May one hundred Classic Cars will gather at St. Marys School for a bacon butty before setting off for a fascinating 70 mile run through the beautiful Wiltshire countryside. Stopping for refreshments at Middlewick House and then onto Casterley Barn near Pewsey to finish with a wonderful lunch provided by the Marden Belles WI with time to enjoy the beautiful views over the downs.
With further support on the day being provided by Rotarians and a great team of volunteers, the event will be a true community effort. The car run also features VIP Teddy Bears and much loved dogs in some of the cars.
Most of the proceeds will go to the Wiltshire Bobby Van Trust and the remainder to Rotary charities
The event still has place available for classic and cherished cars and Kate Tompkins of the Rotary Club of Calne said “If you have a classic car, bike or other vehicle come and join us for a great day out and to raise money for some great causes”
