Convish Farm Charity Events

Wiltshire Air Ambulance received a cheque worth £20,583.73 and The Wiltshire Bobby Van Trust £18,200 at the WAA airbase in Semington on February 12.

This was an incredible effort from Emily Tulloch and her small team who organised a massive fundraising venture at the Hillbrush Company in Mere in October last year for the two charities.

The Convish Farm Charity Events (CFCE) team of five neighbours from West Knoyle and a couple of friends from Mere, raised an astonishing £37,983.73 for the Wiltshire Air Ambulance (WAA) and Wiltshire Bobby Van Trust(WBVT).

We can’t thank Emily Tulloch and her committee enough for their incredible hard work and effort for, not only the cold weekend in October when the party and clothes sale were held, but the amount of time that was put in organising these events throughout the year.  This also included a raffle for a Kia Picanto car from F J Chalke and an online auction.

The fundraising culminated at Hillbrush, Mere with a fabulous Bollywood Rock Party held on the Friday night and the Bag a Bargain, a nearly-new designer clothes sale in the same marquee on Sunday to Tuesday.  The logistics of clearing up the party and setting up the clothes sale on the Saturday were a feat that would have broken many.

Once again a huge THANK YOU to all involved, you are all amazing.
