They have local technicians in each area. They offer you and your loved ones peace of mind knowing that help is there for with one simple touch of a button and which is linked to their 24 hour UK monitoring centre. Connected Living is proud to be accredited to a high standard with the Telecare Services Association (TSA) so you know that they are a service you can trust.

Providing a variety of services including: short-term loans of wheelchairs and toilet aids; short-term practical and emotional support at home to help people regain their independence; and, support to people affected by crisis by providing transport for medical appointments and essential daily needs.

Carer Support Wiltshire: There are over 47,000 unpaid carers in Wiltshire. 2,700 of them are young adult carers aged between the age of 16 and 25 who look after siblings or parents. We help them to access support, services, education and training, and breaks from their caring role. We ensure carers have a voice in policy making and planning for services, and we work with health and social care professionals and employers to develop best practice.
Crimestoppers: An independent charity helping law enforcement to locate criminals and help solve crimes. We have an anonymous 24/7 phone number, 0800 555 111, that people can call to pass on information about crime; alternatively people can send us information anonymously via our Giving Information Form. You don’t have to give your name or any of your personal details.
Dementia Action Alliance: The Dementia Action Alliance brings together organisations and individuals across England committed to improving health and social care outcomes for people living with dementia, and those who care for them. The Bobby Van Trust is a signed up member of all the Wiltshire Dementia Action Alliances.
Dementia Bands Launch: Smart wristbands designed to help find missing people with dementia quicker are now being rolled out to the public. The hi-tech bands are a result of a collaboration between Wiltshire Police and its partners, the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner, the Wiltshire Bobby Van Trust, Alzheimer’s Support Wiltshire, and Carer Support Wiltshire. Please complete the referral form if you would like to be part of the scheme.

Driving Miss Daisy: Driving Miss Daisy provides transport and companion driving services for the elderly, children, disabled and for anyone who is unable to drive from A to B. We offer you independence and peace of mind, enabling you to get out to where you want. Our special service also provides assistance in and out of the car, accompanying you to appointments, shopping and company on outings. Refuge: Providing a range of high quality services for abused women and children. Advocating for improvements to domestic violence policy and practice, and the implementation of legislation to meet the needs of abused women and children. Helping to prevent domestic violence through campaigning, education, training and research.
Spurgeons Young Carers Wiltshire: Spurgeons provides support for young carers up to the age of 18.
Swindon Domestic Abuse Support Service: The charity is committed to empowering and supporting victims and survivors of domestic abuse; by providing a range of flexible and accessible services that promote positive change.
The Silver Line: This group provides three functions to support older people:
• a sign-posting service to link them into the many, varied services that exist around the country;
• a befriending service to combat loneliness; and,
• a means of empowering those who may be suffering abuse and neglect, if appropriate to transfer them to specialist services to protect them from harm.
Take Five – To Stop Fraud: Take Five is a national campaign that offers straight-forward and impartial advice to help everyone protect themselves from financial fraud. This includes email deception and phone-based scams as well as online fraud – particularly where criminals impersonate trusted organisations.
